PJSC «Concern-Electron» is 20 years old

Exactly 20 years ago, on the 29-th of June 1991, «Electron» state
concern turned into absolutely new structure – «Concern-Electron» joint stock
company of classical western type, which shares were
registered in Ukraine under №1.
As at that time in the country there were not its own
procedures of privatization, the standard (so-called «Anglo-Saxon» model),
which based on predominant possession of shares by physical persons (in
comparison with «continental» model, in
which
«wholesale» structure of
ownership of securities prevails, that is, belonged only to some big
investors).
Thus, privatization papers of «Concern-Electron» were
purchased by the workers of the enterprise themselves, the members of their
families and veterans of the plant – more then 20 thousand persons became
shareholders.
At one time about uniqueness of the process was much
written in our and foreign press, even the management of Electron was invited
to take part in International conference in problems of workers` property in
Oxford, where the procedure was recognized as one of the most civilized and
socially fair methods of changing form of property.
Now «Concern-Electron» PJSC is a large diversified company consisted of
scientific-production and industrial enterprises of different branches and
directions of activity. For all years since the moment of its creation the
Company has always been working profitability and annually pays dividends to
its shareholders.
On the occasion of anniversary the Head of the board
of
«Concern-Electron» PJSC Yuriy
Bubes and the Heard of Supervisory body Viktor Rybynok awarded the veterans of
the Company and the best workers with corporate prizes, appreciations and
letters of commendation.
