On October 30, under the chairmanship of Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy, a meeting of Working Group on the development of electric transport was held.
The general concept of the strategy of development of the automobile industry of Ukraine was considered at the event. The participants focused on stimulating the production of modern electric vehicles. In this context, they expressed support for the draft laws pending consideration by the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading, namely №3476, 3477 on changes in the Customs and Tax Code and №3739 on the implementation of requirements for localization of car and electric transport production in public procurement.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Concern-Electron” PJSC, proposed to supplement
the strategy with aspects on stimulating medium- and long-term demand for
electric transport by both municipal and private carriers through the creation
of special leasing and lending programs by these banks, in turn, will stimulate
the production of electric vehicles at Ukrainian machine-building enterprises.
