New «Electron» tram was transferred to Lviv

On the 22-d of October 2014 accordingly to the
certificate of State interdepartmental committee Т3L44 «Electron» tram, which
replenished rolling stock of LKP «Lvivelectrotrans» tram park, was put into operation.
Т3L44 «Electron» tram was manufactured by «Electrontrans» Joint
Ukrainian-German venture in accordance with the order of Housing economy and
Infrastructure department of Lviv town council. That is already the second
up-to-date tram of «Electron» trademark
for Lviv.
The first 5-section full low floor tram has been
successfully used on the tracks of our town from 2013. A new, this time,
3-section 19,5 m long «Electron» tram has a
total capacity of 160 passengers, including 35 seats and a place for a
wheelchair.
