and its new-founded enterprise «Electrontrans»
Joint Ukrainian German venture presented to the public the production
capacities of the plant and its product – fully (100%) low floor «Electron» tram, which
is unique in Ukraine and SIC.
A new-founded enterprise «Electrontrans» Joint Ukrainian German venture is an
up-to–date machine building plant with technologically flexible production,
which is able to manufacture the trams both for tracks of 1000 mm
gauge and also of 1435 mm and 1524 mm ones – that
is not only for cities in Ukraine but also for export to the countries of SIC
and European Union.
«Electrontrans» Joint Ukrainian-German venture was
founded by «Concern-Electron» Public Joint Stock Company, «TransTec F&E
Vetschau UG» company (Germany) and LLC «Autotechnoproekt» (Lviv). The
enterprise specializes on production of modern city electric transport – trams,
trolleybuses, electrobuses. Production capacity of JV «Electrontrans» will
allow to produce 100 trams or trolleybuses a year. With such workload 200 new work places will be made at
the enterprise.
