A new «Electron» three-section tram appeared in Lviv

Joint Ukrainian-German venture «Electrontrans», included in «Electron» corporation, won a victory in tender as to the delivery of one more low-floor tram for Lviv.

 

In 2014 rolling-stock of «Lvivelectrontrans» LKP tram depot will be increased with a new full low-floor T3L44 «Electron» tram, which will be manufactured to order of the Department of housing economy and infrastructure of Lviv City Council. A new «Electron» tram will have three sections, its length – 19,5 m, total capacity – 160 passengers (including 35 seats and place for a passenger in a wheelchair).

 

According to conducted and accepted tender, the tram delivery date of the tram – 10 months from the day of conclusion of a treaty.

 

In Lviv the first full low-floor «Electron» tram has been successfully exploited from the September 2013.
