For equality of domestic producers and foreign partners

On the 27-th of March the conference in problems of entrepreneurship development and mobilization of investments into the economy of Lviv region was held. The leaders of Federation of employers under the chairmanship of the Federation president Dmytro Firtash, management of Lviv Regional State Administration, representatives of regional industrial enterprises, small and middle business, representatives of trade unions and scientists took part in the conference.

 

At the conference the questions on support of industry and entrepreneurship, improvement of investment climate in Lviv region and, namely, related to that perspectives of investment mobilization, strategic directions of partnership development among Ukrainian and foreign companies and a member of other important problems were discussed.

 

The speech of the chairman of the board of «Concern-Electron» PJSC Yuriy Bubes was precisely devoted to the partnership among domestic and foreign companies. Concern has a long-term practice both of doing joint business with foreign companies and on mobilization of domestic investments. The example is the activities of «Spheros-Electron» Joint Ukrainian-German venture, producing autonomic heaters for needs of motor industry not only for Ukraine, but also for foreign companies of FRG, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, Slovakia, Russia and Byelorussia. A successful example of domestic investments with the participation of private and state capitals is the first and now the only in Ukraine enterprise on industrial production of nanostructure on the basis of «Concern-Electron» together with Kyyiv «Research and production concern «Science» CJSC.

 

However, an applicable legislation hasn`t still promoted the mobilization and effective usage of investments. Yuriy Bubes proposed to Federation of employers to initiate realization of programs and measures on national producer protection, namely, the revision of import duty rate for imported production within the limits of agreements with the World Trade Organization (WTO), using Ukraine lawful right to place for WCO consideration its own propositions, concerning the revision of undertaken obligations and make changes in import duty rate from May 2011. Yuriy Bubes also offered to call Ukrainian producers, interested domestic and foreign investors, national industry associations and work out the propositions to the program of the development of domestic production and submit it to the government and Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for legislative fixation.
